Gruppo Carige pursues the strategic goal of creating value over the medium-to-long term for its shareholders and other stakeholders, while at the same time consolidating its role as a banking, financial, social welfare and insurance conglomerate on the domestic scale, rooted in individual local markets, capable of standing out in terms of the quality of service that it offers its clients, through its multiple integrated channels and the quality of its resources and facilities:

• a conglomerate, in terms of range of products and services offered, on both the asset and liabilities side, continuing to perform the role of local hub for other small and medium-sized banks, with specific locational, structural and management characteristics;
• national, with its hub in the Liguria region, yet with significant offshoots throughout Italy, where it stands out for its specific focus on developing the value of relations with local businesses (multi-localism);
• focused on quality of service and developing an integrated multi-channel approach, entailing integrity, reliability and flexibility, for the segment of households, small and medium-sized firms, independent businesspeople, traders and local public bodies, leveraging the widest possible use of technology;
• committed to pursuing the development of resources and facilities, entailing greater specialisation of networks and productive functions, coherent management of the Group's "key" areas of expertise, and the professional development of staff in order to achieve ever greater levels of efficiency.
